2025 LRTC STUDENT RACING CHALLENGE!
SUMMER S.T.E.M. CAMP
This summer, the Litchfield Regional Training Center’s (LRTC) Student Racing Challenge Summer Camp is back! Tailored for local High School and Middle School students, this camp introduces and fosters essential Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic (STEM) concepts.
GRADES 9-12: JULY 21-25, 8AM-4PM
GRADES 5-8: AUGUST 4-8, 8AM-4PM
CUSTOM RADIO-CONTROLLED CAR
Throughout the week, students will dive into STEM principles as they design and race fully operational RC cars. With an incredible 14 million possible configurations, creativity and learning know no bounds! After a week of fine-tuning, testing, and data analysis — it’s Race Day Friday! Join us for multiple races, enjoy lunch, and tour the impressive LRTC facility.
PREPPING FOR RACE DAY FRIDAY
Fuel your passion for race engineering as you delve into lessons on energy, electricity, and the laws of motion. Embrace hands-on learning using simple tools and instruments, all building up to the adrenaline-pumping Race Day Friday – where your knowledge and creativity come to life on the track!
$50 INCLUDES LUNCH / T-SHIRT
Location: Litchfield Regional Training Center (LRTC), 181 Simpson Drive, Litchfield, Michigan 49252.
Tuition: Dive into this STEM adventure for only $50 for the entire week, inclusive of lunch, snacks, and a race team t-shirt. Scholarships are available – reach out to Matt Norris or Annette Sands to explore your options.
