5S Office Organize & Clean

5S is the name of a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. These words may be loosely translated into English as sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain. 

This course will provide a basic understanding of this system, and how to implement in all sectors: healthcare, municipal office, office, manufacturing, any industry.                                                           

Upon completion of this course the trainee will be able to:

Understand what Lean 5S is; 

Understand Lean as Structural Change with the implementation of the 5S system; 

Understand Lean as Process Implementation for elimination of inherent wastes; 

Understand Lean as a philosophical mind set to develop a culture of continuous improvement
