COURSE DESCRIPTION: This forty (40) hour course is designed to provide the basic skills needed to safely rig and then Disassemble/Reassemble a Fanuc and/or Motoman Robot. This hands-on course provides instruction and procedures necessary for mastering the robot, safely rigging components, and perform a complete disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of a FANUC and/or Motoman robot mechanical unit. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Upon completion of this module the trainees will have knowledge of Robotics safety, Disassembly/Reassembly of the Robot, Preventive Maintenance procedures and checklist, Component Replacement and Master/calibrate the robot. DURATION: 40 Hours LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this module the trainee will be able to: · Perform adjustments on the robot · Create checklist for periodic maintenance on the mechanical unit · Remove and reinstall all mechanical components on the robot · Diagnose robot mechanical problems to the component level · Safely rig robot components for removal and reinstallation using proper rigging equipment and techniques · Remove and reinstall wiring harness · Remove and Reinstall J1 Motor · Remove and Reinstall J2 Motor · Remove and Reinstall J2 Axis Reducer · Remove and Reinstall J3 Axis Motor and Reducer · Remove and Reinstall J3 Axis Motor · Remove and Reinstall J3 Reducer · Remove and Reinstall Wrist Axis Motors and J4 Reducer Axis · Remove and Reinstall J5 Axis Reducer · Remove and Reinstall Axis 6 planetary gear assembly and tooling · Remove and Reinstall Counterbalance · Understand where and how to lubricate robot · Master/Calibrate the Robot
