Service Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic skills needed to Operate, Program and Edit arc welding robots. The course provides both Classroom and Performance based hands on training in the use of Controls, Operations and Part Programming. COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this module the trainee will be able to: Understand and implement welding functions of the robot Identify and understand the major components of a teach pendent Correctly practice all areas of safety as they pertain to the robot operation Identify the principal components of the robot system Define system and user screens Correctly operate in automatic an manual mode using teach pendent Demonstrate proper startup, operation and shutdown of the robot system Interrupt a program during operation Create and edit programs using teach pendent Create new and modify weld schedules Create new and modify weave schedules Correctly save upload, and download robot programs Touch up points on existing program Lunch provided. Food and drinks allowed.
