This will include the process for auditing Customer Specific Requirements and Core Tools (APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, PPAP) Course Objectives As a result of this course, participants should be able to: • Describe IATF16949:2016 and explain how it is used to improve customer satisfaction and the bottom line • Describe to 2016 revision and the impact to internal auditing • Use a process-based approach to plan, prepare, conduct and report a quality management system audit and Manufacturing Process audit • Describe the specific requirements of IATF16949:2016 • Create audit schedules, follow audit trails, and write nonconformance and audit reports Course Outline Introduction to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016 • Understanding of the ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016 standards and the underlying concepts Introduction to Internal Audits • Purpose and objectives of audits with their respect to external versus internal audits Roles and Responsibilities of Internal Audits • Roles and responsibilities of the Lead Auditor, Team Auditor, Auditee and Internal Audit Program Manager Plan the Internal Audit – Lead Auditor • Plan for the internal audit according to ISO 19011:2018 - international standard containing guidelines for management systems auditing Audit Execution • Interviewing techniques, collection of evidence, following audit trails, dealing with confrontation and documenting internal audits Reporting Results and Writing Non-conformances – Lead Auditor • Audit reporting and how to write a nonconformance containing Statement of Nonconformity at System Level, The Requirement and Objective Evidence.
