About Us

Mike Gilmore, owner of Little River Trading Company, splits time between his off-road recreational vehicle business in California and his cabin and workshop on the Little River in his native Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. Mike grew up here. He knows the people, the land, the customs, and draws on that knowledge and experience to create one-of-a-kind cedar and hardwood log furniture. With the assistance of local craftsman Don Lee, he designs and builds beautiful, quality furniture from timber harvested in the surrounding forest. Only the best cuts of locally harvested and milled timber, finest 100% American-made hardware, and proven construction methods are incorporated in the furniture built by hand.
